Thanks for a Great Season of Discovery Day Camp 2017  Information about Discovery Day Camp 2018 Will be Posted in Spring 2018 

Discovery Day Camp is a neighborhood day camp that provides a fun, welcoming environment for kids to come and spend time with their friends and make new ones too!  It is open to members and non-members and is designed for children in rising grades K-5th.  The camp is led by director, Nella Ivie and teen counselors.  The children participate in swimming, crafts, games, and outdoor sports.  Campers are grouped by grade and gender with a maximum ratio of 5 campers to 1 counselor.  A mid-morning snack is provided.  Children should bring a lunch each day or purchase lunch at the snack bar.

Please Bring the following to camp every day:  towel and sack lunch or money to purchase lunch at the snack bar.  Children should come to camp dressed in a swimsuit, shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes.  Send a change of clothes if your child wants to change.  Apply sun block to your child everyday!   And label everything.  Children must be able to swim without flotation devices or assistance.

2017  There are 4, one-week sessions in 2017; camp hours are:  9 am – 1 pm, Tuesday through Friday; campers may attend one or more sessions.

  • Week 1:  June 6-9
  • Week 2:  June 13-16
  • Week 3:  June 20-23
  • Week 4:  June 27-30 (If there are not a minimum of 25 campers signed up for this week by May 15, this session will be cancelled)

2017  Fees:

  • Members:  $150 per session for the first child in the family and $120 per additional child, per session
  • Non-Members:  $195 per child, per session
