Tennis Court Rules
TENNIS TEAMS
For member’s convenience the tennis area of the MFC has three well maintained tennis courts, equipped with an excellent lighting system for evening play. This area also has a covered seating area to rest between tennis matches that is equipped with electrical fans for added comfort.
The MFC has three women’s and four men’s team in active league competition. Our teams are always looking for new talent to play both on a regular and on a substitute basis. Tennis teams that play on the Memorial Forest Club tennis courts must be made up of only Memorial Forest Club members. Non-members are not allowed to play in team matches and practices. Please contact the Tennis Director or one of the team captains for more information.
Tennis Lessons
Tennis lessons and clinics are available from local USTA tennis professional Judy Martindale, In the summer months Ms. Martindale runs a special children’s tennis program on Monday through Thursday of each week except the first week of July. Non-members are allowed to receive tennis lessons only when accompanied by a member -- a maximum of three non-members to member ratio is to be strictly enforced.

Tennis Ball Machine
The tennis ball machine can be a big help in improving your stroke. We change the combination to the lock on the storage shed periodically. If you need the combination or instructions to use the machine call the Tennis Director
