*In 2021, The Memorial Forest Club completely rebuilt the three tennis courts and renovated the entire tennis facility.
The Memorial Forest Club has three well-maintained tennis courts, equipped with an excellent lighting system for evening play. The tennis complex has a covered seating area with ceiling fans and two refrigerated drinking fountains.
The Club has men’s and women’s teams in active league competition and adult and youth tennis lessons. Our teams are always looking for new talent to play both on a regular and a substitute basis. Tennis teams are comprised of members of the Memorial Forest Club. To inquire about participating in a league scroll to the bottom of the page for contact information.
Tennis courts can be reserved by members through our reservation system, please click HERE.
Tennis Pro
Tennis lessons are taught by the club's tennis professional, Katya Pomier, who has been the head tennis pro at the club since 2014. Originally from Russia, Coach Katya has been playing tennis since she was 5 years old. She attended the University of Kansas on a full tennis scholarship and played singles and doubles her four years. Coach Katya teaches all age groups and is on the court almost every day of the week instructing students. She offers quick start programs where kids use smaller rackets, smaller court and low compression balls depending on their age, level and ability. She will always make sure your child learns the strokes, basics of the game and technique while having a blast. She also works with many students who play competitively at tournaments. Katya says about the Club, “I work at an Amazing place with amazing people teaching the best game in the world, TENNIS!”
