MFC Discovery Camp

Coach Moore will be back again this summer for 4 weeks of MFC Discovery Day Camp in the month of June!

The Memorial Forest Club is gearing up for another great season of fun in the sun with summer day camp! Coach Kim Moore is returning for her 4 year as MFC Discovery Camp Director. Coach Moore has been teaching and coaching at Memorial MS for 30 years, and is retiring in May 2026. She has two children Dylan (25) a UT grad and Kyra (23) who recently passed her Real Estate license and is working on her Psychology degree at College Station. Some of her favorite things are sports, the beach, camping, cooking, snuggling with my three cats, teaching, travel, and music. We are very excited for another wonderful year of camp and look forward to seeing returning campers as well as new campers this year.

Some of the fun events that happen at camp are outdoor activities (wall ball/whiffle ball/kickball/jump rope/basketball/football), swimming, arts/crafts, inside/board games, biggest splash contest for campers/counselors, just to name a few.

Hours: Discovery Day Camp hours will be from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm this summer. We will have “early drop-off” option for members, who prefer to drop-off at 8:30 am or 9:00am.  Requirement: Kids must be able to swim on their own without floaties.

Enrollment for the MFC Discovery Camp is OPENS on March 3 and CLOSES on March 31.

MFC Discovery Day Camp Fees: 
Club Member: $200.00 per child, per session + $30 for Early Drop Off at 8:30am or $20 for Early Drop Off at 9:00am
Non-Club Member: $250.00 per child per session+ $30 for Early Drop Off at 8:30am or $20 for Early Drop Off at 9:00am

You must be a member in good standing to register as a Club Member. To be in good standing, you must have paid your membership dues for 2026.

Club Member: Deadline to receive your completed application is March 31, 2026.

Non-Club Member: Deadline to receive your completed application is March 31, 2026. You will be automatically placed on Wait List that will be cleared by April 4, 2026, in the order that the registration is received if there is availability.

Space is limited to 75 campers (members and non-members) for all sessions.

** Please do NOT send in requests for whom your child should be with we will put them in groups by grades (not ages).

HELP WANTED: Lifeguards, Camp Counselors, Concession Stand and Front Desk Check-In

We are looking for our lifeguards, camp counselors, concession stand and front desk check-in for this summer.  If your child is interested in being a camp counselor, please have them complete the Employment Application.
